Awarded 1907 Prize for first place in English Essay Contest, 1909; Alumni Prize for first place in chinese oration, 1910. Assistant Instructor, St. John's University, 1909-10. Studied Education at the University of Wisconsin, 1910-13; Educational Admini-stration at Columbia University, 1913-14. A.B., 1913; A.M., 1914.
